Martine Dowden

Focusing on web interfaces that are beautiful, functional, and usable, Martine delivers products that adhere to WCAG for accessibility and compliance. She approaches User Experience and Design from both Art and Science, drawing from her degrees in Psychology and Visual Communications.

What really sets Martine apart is that she sees her projects through implementation and deployment. She is hands-on at all stages of the product cycle, writing code and building products while also contributing to design, branding, and marketing. She has been instrumental in leadership at Andromeda, introducing a development method focusing on UX and accessibility, establishing guidelines to make simple, friendly-to-use products that raise the bar in their respective industries.

Martine has worked as an artist, designer, programmer, consultant, and educator since 2005. She stays active in the industry, mentoring developers, attending and speaking at conferences and meetups, and publishing article, courses, and books.
